About the artist

Hello there! I'm KC Stresak, a soft pastel artist based out of Denver, Colorado, USA. My work was initially inspired by the hunt for a true sky blue color to honor the brilliance of the Colorado sky. I found it in soft pastels and never looked back. I love how the pure pigment of pastel catches light and movement. 

My work is inspired by the small moments that make life beautiful but are easily overlooked. People often say that I capture atmosphere in a way that recalls their own personal memories. 

Most of my work is done on pastel paper, in my home studio, usually with a mystery thriller audiobook playing in the background.
